Navigating the global aviation job market requires precision and preparation. Below, we have answered the most common questions from aviation professionals regarding our recruitment process, documentation standards, and deployment support.
Registration & Fees
Do I have to pay any registration or placement fees?
No. InterAviation Resources operates on a strictly ethical, employer-funded model. Our services are 100% free for candidates. We will never charge you registration fees, administrative costs, or a percentage of your salary. Our corporate clients fully absorb the costs of talent acquisition.
Will my current employer find out I am looking for a new role?
Absolutely not. We maintain strict confidentiality. Your profile, CV, and licensing details are held securely in our database. We will never share your dossier with a prospective employer without your explicit consent and prior discussion.
Document Readiness
What documents do I need to have ready before applying?
Aviation recruitment requires audit-ready documentation. To fast-track your application, please ensure you have digital copies of the following ready to upload:
Updated CV: Highlighting your specific fleet experience, total hours/years of experience, and current role.
Aviation Licenses: Current copies of your DGCA, EASA, FAA, or ICAO licenses (e.g., ATPL, CPL, EASA Part-66 B1/B2).
Logbooks & Task Records: Summaries of your flight hours or your personal maintenance logbook with recent task sign-offs.
Medical Certificates: Valid Class 1, Class 2, or Class 3 medical certificates, depending on your profession.
Identification & Clearances: A valid passport (with at least 1-2 years of validity) and any recent Police Clearance Certificates (PCC).
What if my type-rating or medical is currently expired?
You should still register your profile. Many employers offer type-rating renewals or recurrent training programs for the right candidates. Please be completely transparent about your recency dates in your application so we can match you with operators willing to sponsor renewals.
Interview Preparation
How will InterAviation help me prepare for the employer interview?
We do not just forward your CV; we prepare you for success. Before you meet the employer, you will undergo a preliminary assessment with our in-house Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). We then provide you with a comprehensive briefing on the specific airline or MRO, including:
Insights into their corporate culture and operational environment.
Preparation for HR and behavioral interview rounds.
Expectations for technical assessments, schematic troubleshooting, or simulator (sim) checks.
International Deployments
If I accept an international role, who handles my visa and work permits?
Once you sign an employment offer, our deployment team in Mumbai coordinates directly with the employer’s HR department to facilitate your transition. The hiring company typically sponsors and processes your employment visa and work permits, while our team ensures all your documentation is submitted correctly and on time.
What support do you provide for pre-deployment medicals and background checks?
International deployments often require specific civil aviation medicals and strict security background checks. We guide you through the process of obtaining an internationally recognized Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) and direct you to the approved aviation medical examiners required by your new host country’s civil aviation authority.
Will my family be able to relocate with me?
This depends entirely on the specific employment contract and the destination country. Many of our clients in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia offer robust family relocation packages (including housing and education allowances) for senior technical and flight crew roles. We ensure you have full clarity on family sponsorship policies before you accept an offer.
